Born and raised on Oʻahu in Hawaiʻi, Catherine Toth Fox is a Honolulu-based editor, writer, children’s book author, blogger, podcaster, content creator and former journalism instructor. She is currently the editor of HAWAIʻI Magazine. editor of Hawaiʻi Farm & Food and columnist at Civil Beat, and her work has been featured in National Geographic, Outside, Lonely Planet, Apartment Therapy and more. She graduated from Northwestern University with a master’s degree in journalism. In 2019 she published her first children’s book, Kai Goes to the Farmers Market in Hawaiʻi (Beachhouse Publishing). She lives in Honolulu with her aquaculturist husband, Pokémon-crazed son, a rescue dog, three hens, a kitten named Eevee, and an extensive collection of hiking gear and surfboards.
